Kurds offer joint border deployment as Iraq threatens to resume military operations

BAGHDAD (Reuters) - Iraq's Kurdistan region said on Thursday it has offered a joint Kurdish-Iraqi deployment at a strategic crossing with Turkey, with participation of representatives from the U.S.-led coalition helping fight the Islamic State group.
